| 摘 要： | 美国是个移民国家,早期的美国人因为特定的背景,形成了特殊的国民性格,本文对其进行了归纳(开拓进取的拓荒性格、追求自由民主和平等的性格、自信乐观的性格、务实的性格、流动的性格、个人主义、不拘礼仪的性格)并探讨了这些性格形成的原因。

| Abstract: | The United States is a country of immigrants.Due to its peculiar background,early Americans developed several conspicuous national characters which are summarized in this paper as： Pioneering frontiers,courage to pursue freedom,democracy and equality,confident and optimistic personality,pragmaticism,high mobility,individualism and informality in etiquette.This paper also explores some of the factors shaping these characters. |
