| 摘 要： | 近年来中国图书馆学界出现了一股新的思潮,这种思潮的主要思想是倡导中国图书馆学界应该大力发展实证研究,并通过文献计量和分析的证据表明了中国图书馆学实证研究方面存在着非常大的缺陷。作者认为实证研究的缺失不在实证本身而在实证研究之外。实证研究缺失恰恰透射出的是中国图书馆学理论研究的空白和无力。本文从理论的内涵、特征和科学研究规律三个方面论述了理论研究的重要性。同时也对图书馆学教育中缺乏理论思辨的内容提出了自己的观点。

| Abstract: | In the recent years,some scholars suggest that the library science should pay more attention to empirical study than theory study in China.The author thinks that the quality and quantity of the empirical study papers are inferior due to the insufficient of theory study in library science.The paper discusses the significance of theory in the way of connotation,character and research principle,and brings about some constructive opinions for the education of library science. |
