| Abstract: | Shengshengman is a famous ci poem of LI Qingzhao, an outstanding poetess of Song Dynasty. It vividly depicts her sad emotions in autumn by unique literary approaches. This paper makes a comparative study on four typical English translations of the poem, from which translators of classic Chinese verse may get some inspiration. |
