| 摘 要： | As I Lay Dying is one of Faulkner’ s greatest works and an important novel of the Yoknapatawpha Saga.This thesis deals with the black humor in As I Lay Dying,as the humor contributes to a better understanding of characterization,action,and theme of this fiction and Faulkner’ s others.Eventually,we would realize that this fiction not only touches something in the American south but also the prob lems of all of the human beings.
