| Abstract: | For Chinese people who learn English,English newspapers can serve as an effective way to widen their scope of knowledge,en rich their vocabulary and help them learn the ever-changing English language.As the essence of the contents of all the news events,news paper headlines are worth learning.This paper mainly studies the language forms of English newspaper headlines,such as sentence patterns,tense features.It is hoped that the study can provide English learners a deep insight into English newspaper headlines and offer them a short cut to understand journalistic English and its language features. |
