| 摘 要： | 形合与意合是语言构建的外在表征,是英汉两种语言最显著的区别特征之一。英语重形合,汉语重意合,体现了两种语言使用的规约性与普遍性,在语篇层面,英语意合法与汉语形合法的使用,反映出语言使用的特殊性与相对性。翻译时,既要考虑目的语语言的规约性与普遍性,也要考虑语言使用的特殊性与灵活性,根据语法、语义与语用需要,在形合的显性连接与意合的隐性连接之间进行转换。

| Abstract: | Hypotaxis and parataxis are external manifestation of language.They are also the most important distinguishing features between Chinese and English.English is featured by hypotaxis and Chinese by parataxis,which reflects universality and conventionality of language use.While at the level of text,the use of parataxis in English and hypotaxis in Chinese embodies particularity and relativity of the language.In translation,the hypotactic explicit connectives and the paratactic implicit ones should be transferred according to the grammar,the se mantics and the pragmatics by taking conventionality and particularity of language use into account. |
