| 摘 要： | 甲午战争使中国传统观念嬗变。民族资产阶级在意识形态领域内要求改变旧的科举和学校制度,力倡“西学”,不少有识之士选择了赴日留学报效祖国的道路。清政府为挽救其统治,采取了鼓励和支持留日的政策,日本出于培植亲日势力的目的,也愿意接受留日学生。于是留日蔚然成风,加速了中国近代化的步伐。

| Abstract: | The Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895facilitated the evolution of traditional ideas in China.The national bourgeoisie demanded reforming the old system of examinations and school systems.They advocated"Western Learning", which made many men of insight decide to study in Japan so that they couid serve their motherland in the future.In order to save its domination,the Qing government encouraged and supported some students to study in Japan. Actuated by the motive of building up pro-Japanese influence,Japanese government was willing to accept Chinese students.As a result,the trend of studying in Japan came into being ,which speeded up China's entering modern history. |
