| 摘 要： | 《麦琪的礼物》显示了欧·亨利引人注目的叙述风格，是欧·亨利小说叙述风格典型的代表作。作者巧妙地融合第三人称全知视角、省叙、叙述空白和视角变换来暗设伏笔，推动情节的发展和悬念的层层构建，最后出奇不意地将令人惊愕的结局嘎然而止于富有戏剧性的场面中。《麦琪的礼物》的独具匠心的文体叙事策略使小说充满了悬念性和张力感，其富有悬念的结局在很大程度上来源于其小说叙述视角的预期文体效果。

| Abstract: | O Henry＇ s masterpiece The Gift of the Magi exemplary demonstrates his superb narrative expertise and reveals his unique narrative style. It can be perceived that O Henry tactically creates suspense and leads readers to a fully unexpected ending of his story by skillfully incorporating omniscient of the third person、paralipsis. blank statement and the shift of viewpoint. The original narrative policies of The Gift of the Magi contribute greatly to the suspense and tension of the short story, whose unexpected ending derives mainly from the intended stylistic effect of the perspective of its narrative viewpoint. |
