| 摘 要： | 美国的传统双语教育制度形成于20世纪印年代末，30多年来没有什么重大变化。但是近年来，公众对传统的过渡式双语教育越来越不满，于是由民间发起了一场用英语浸入式取代传统双语教育的改革运动。加利福尼亚州于1998年通过了改革法案，几年来学生的英语和学科成绩都有显著提高。到目前为止，亚利桑那州和马萨诸塞州也已通过了类似加州的双语教育改革法案。

| Abstract: | The traditional system of bilingual education took shape in the late 1960s. There was no significant change in the past 30 years. However, the public became more and more dissatisfied with the transitional bilingual education in recent years, then advocated a reform of immersion study of English instead. Since California passed a law of reform in 1998, the achievement of English and other subjects have been significantly improved. At present, Alisanna and Massachusetts have also passed the similar laws of reform. |
