| 摘 要： | 刘勰与亚里士多德对语言的理解大相径庭。亚里士多德认为语言是摹仿现实存在的工具，它的基本特征是明晰、适当和准确。因而，一切与文学语言表达有关的修辞手法诸如隐喻等主要是修饰而已。刘勰则认为语言不仅是表达思想的工具，它本身也是创作主体进行文学创作的一部分。语言是文学创作中思维的枢机，其本身的能指层面具有相对独立的价值，且与创作主体的个性和生命力息息相关。因而，语言本身在某种程度上制约着主体的表达。
