| 摘 要： | 区域经济的发展进程是该区域生产力由低到高的增长过程。在这一过程中，科技进步始终伴随地区经济发展。在当代，科技进步已成为区域经济发展的内在要求。福建省作为海峡西岸经济区的主体经济区域，在全面建设小康社会进程中，加快科技进步，实现自主创新，是实现海峡西岸经济社会可持续发展的现实选择。现运用定量分析和定性分析相结合的方法，测算福建省科技进步对经济发展的贡献率，从而为福建省科技发展战略的选择和制定提供决策依据。
