| 摘 要： | 省略是语言中常见的语法现象。英语中省略句出现的频率甚高，且以特定语境下的省略见多。然而，有些学在谈及英语省略现象时出现了一些误漏。本就有关对英语省略的误解从词汇、句子结构、语言习惯等各个角度阐述几点看法，希望有助于对英语省略现象的正确理解。

| Abstract: | Ellipsis is a very common grammatical phenomenon in languages. Elliptical sentences are frequently seen in English, especially in some particular situations. Yet, there appeared some misunderstandings of ellipsis when some scholars studied it. This article tries to illustrate some points on the misunderstandings from aspects of vocabulary,sentence structure and language customs. |
