| 摘 要： | 英汉学术论文标题中标点的使用有异也有同。顿号、书名号仅用于汉语学术论文标题；分号、省略号只在英语学术论文标题中出现；破折号、冒号、问号、引号、逗号、感叹号、斜线，英汉标题中都用，但使用频率不同。英汉学术论文标题中，标点符号的不对应是由两种语言标点类别不同造成的，同类标点使用频率不同，则是由英汉标题类型不同和英汉学者对标题选择使用的习惯不同造成的。

| Abstract: | The paper discuses the similarities and difference s between Chinese and English punctuation used in the titles of research papers. The slight-pause mark used to set off items in a series and the punctuation mar ks used to enclose the title of a book or an article are not used in the titles of English research papers;the semicolon and ellipsis do not appear in the title s of Chinese research papers,and the dash,the colon,the question mark,the quotat ion marks, the comma,the exclamation mark and the slash are used both in Chinese and English titles,but they are not used in the same frequency, The frist two c ases are caused by the different types of punctuation between Chinese and Englis h,and the last case is due to the different title types between the two language s and the authors’different ideas about the titles. |
