Abstract:Arthur Miller’s masterpiece Death of a Salesman is a very clear attack on the American success myth.The most dominant theme running throughout the play is Willy Loman’s philosophy of personal attractiveness and its doomed futility.This philosophy not only brings failure to Willy’s career but also destruction to Willy’s family members.
