| 摘 要： | 十二生肖在中国传统文化占有重要的地位,因而作为中国的代表文化,十二生肖的翻译不仅仅要考虑动物词汇自身的特性,而且更重要的是传达出词汇背后所蕴含的文化含义。文章通过语义上和文化上,初步探讨十二生肖在英语中正确的翻译。

| Abstract: | Chinese zodiac plays an important role in China’s traditional culture.Thus,as the symbols of Chinese culture,we not only consider the character of twelve kinds of animals,but also convey the associative meaning implied by the words itself in the process of translating.This paper attempts to explore the proper translation of Chinese zodiac from Chinese into English. |
