| 摘 要： | 对于空间属性很强的信息资源，传统的基于文本的数字图书馆并不能对其进行很好的组织、存储和展示。本文针对这一现实，讨论了地理信息系统(GIS)的基本原理，分析了基于GIS的数字图书馆的构架，并探讨了其在古籍数字图书馆、空间信息数字图书馆以及文化地图数字图书馆中的应用。

| Abstract: | The traditional text based digital library can not organize,store and present information resources with obvious spatial attributes very well.Based on this fact,this paper discusses the basic principle of the Geographical Information System(GIS),analyzes the framework of the GIS based digital library,and explores its applications in the digital libraries of ancient books,geo referenced information and cultural maps. |
