“缘情”:朱熹治经之依据

摘    要:朱熹治经时反思的依据乃是“人之常情”,中国哲学家常以“常情”作为反思依据而“缘情察闻”。“缘情察闻”之所以既可能又必要,乃是因为自天地以观之则必然存在“人之常情”。“人之常情”与“常识”不同,它的存在也并不否定认识的必要。作为反思依据,中国所谓“常情”与西方所谓“理性”并非完全不同。

Abstract:In his researches on classics, Zhu Xi based his self-reflection on common sense, which was carried on to ancient Chinese. This is valid and necessary, for by inspecting space and the earth, we can find that common sense certainly exists, and is different from general knowledge. Common sense is the basis of Chinese self reflection, and it is not completely different from the western reason.
