| Abstract: | This paper discusses how to deal with pragmatic vagueness in literary translation. It points out that a proper handling of pragmatic vagueness is crucial to a success in translating literary works and suggests that even translation theories should be examined and applied in line with their property of pragmatic vagueness. |
