| Abstract: | Based on the Abstracts of Academic Papers on Journal Work 1989 ~ 1998, this paper makes a statistic analysis of academic papers on journal work modernization in China in recent 10 years, which reveals that the research is mainly focused on either technologies of computer, network, database and information highway, or management, exploitation and utilization of journals; college libraries have become the main force of the research the national academic institutions of journal work have distributed a lot on the academic research, and the academic achievements are not published in a balanced distribution in terms of journal kinds and issues. |
