| Abstract: | This paper makes a comprehensive study of the historical development of professhal prepararion of physical education in the United States, the reform which has taken place since 1970's and the background of the reform. Also, the main social and cultural factors that influence the reform are discussed here. This paper supplies a new perspetive to underetand professional prepartion of physical education in the United States. |
