| Abstract: | Yan Xiu is a famous educatior in contemporary China.He advocated the abolishment of imperial civil examination and the establishment of normal education,social education and the education of women,paying great attention to the introduction of advanced education experience from foreign countries.He made great efforts to set up new schools,promoted the change from traditional Chinese education to contemporary education,and made great contribution to the development of China's contemporary education. |
