语境理论在大学英语专业精读课中的应用

摘    要:精读课是英语专业的一门主干课程,其目的是根据英语专业人才培养的要求,为学生打好坚实的基础,培养和提高学生的语言能力和交际能力。精读课词汇量大、体裁多样、融知识性与思想性于一体。分析运用语境理论实施英语精读课程教学,探讨如何在英语专业精读课中提高课程学习效果。

Abstract:Intensive reading is a main course for English majors. According to the requirements for the training of English professional talent,the purpose of the course is to help the students to lay a solid foundation, cultivate and improve the students' language ability and communication skills. Intensive reading materials have a great number of words,diverse writ- ing styles, blending with knowledge and ideological content. This paper tries to use the context theories to explore how to im- prove the learning effect in the intensive reading course for English majors.
