| 摘 要： | 婚嫁作为一项重大的民俗活动,包含了极其丰富的社会文化内涵。本文借助一些例子,分析对比了中英婚俗中所选用的物品、数字、声色以及所进行的仪式,以期说明中英婚姻礼仪中虽然婚俗形式存在差异,但人们祈吉祝福的愿望是一样的,中英婚俗中都蕴含着吉祥的文化内涵。

| Abstract: | As marriage is an important matter in one＇s life, its ceremony is regarded as a significant one. Being a great folk-custom, marriage contains abundant social cultural connotations. The articles, the numbers, the sounds, the colors and the rites used on the wedding between China and Britain are illustrated and compared in this essay, The conclusion from which is expected to show that although there exist differences in the marriage custom between the two countries, both people＇s auspicious feelings and wishes to the bride and groom are embodied during the performance of the marriage rites, in other words, the two kinds marriage custom imply the auspicious connotations. |
