| 摘 要： | 从1840年开始,随着资本主义国家的入侵,中国开始沦为半殖民地半封建国家,面临着亡国灭种的危机。在传统与现实的激烈冲突中,从旧时代走出来的人,尤其是知识分子,既留恋旧文化,难以立即与传统落后思想立刻告别,又要迎接新潮流,开眼看世界。由于近代以来中国的民族矛盾以及内部的忧患,加之日本、西欧社会主义思潮的影响,中国知识分子面对内忧外患,以自身特有的气节,不断地探索着中国民主与富强之路。他们的探索极大地促进了资本主义民主革命,并为后来的新民主主义革命提供了马克思主义的理论指导。
