| Abstract: | Meta-cognitive strategy, including planning, monitoring and evaluating, is of great importance in foreign language teaching and research field. This paper probes into the effective application of meta-cognitive strategy in teaching listening comprehension for English majors. And it also attempts to improve the students' listening comprehension ability by using this strategy. |
