| 摘 要： | “价值中立”原则由德国学者马克斯·韦伯提出,原为解决社会学在价值问题上面临的难题.20世纪80年代,“价值中立”原则引介到我国学术界,首先在社会学领域引起广泛讨论.近年来,一些学者将之引入历史研究领域.其实“价值中立”原则减少主观判断、排斥价值渗入的追求不利于史学“求真”目标的实现,也束缚了史学致用功能的彰显.历史是人创造的,历史研究不应忽视人的主观目的和价值观念,没有主观参与和价值渗入,历史真实很难呈现,也无法理解.历史研究是一种思维活动,所以史学著作会不可避免地打上时代的烙印.历史学既有科学性,也有艺术性,如若一味强调“价值中立”,轻视历史学与自然科学甚或其他社会科学研究对象的不同,既难以彰显史学致用的功能,也不利于坚持历史研究求真的原则.在这个意义上,历史研究引入具有客观主义趋向的“价值中立”原则将面临多重困境.

| Abstract: | The value-free principle was put forward by the German sociologist Max Weber in order to solve the puzzle of value on sociology. In the 1980s, the principle of value-free was introduced into Chinese academic circle and discussed widely in the area of sociology. In recent years, some scholars have used this principle to study history. Infact, the goal of seeking truth in the history research cannot be maintained by the value-free principle, and the pragmatism function of history is bound because it avoids the impacts of subjective values. History is created by the people; therefore, historical research should include subjective goals and values, without which historical truth cannot be displayed and cannot be understood, either. Besides, because history research is a kind of thinking activity, historiography is inevitably marked with the times. Historiography is both a science and art. Blind emphasis on the value-free principle and disregard of its difference from natural and social sciences will neither demonstrate historical practice nor sticking to the principle of seeking truth in history research. In this sense, there will be many difficulties when the principle of value-free is introduced into history research. |
