| 摘 要： | 拟对英汉数词＂two＂和＂二＂、＂两＂作一对二的比较研究。以多本英汉字典与词典的释义为语料,在词义的历史派生理论的基础上,从概念功能、文化功能与修辞功能三个方面进行比较。并对比较结果从文化与思维的角度进行解释。

| Abstract: | This paper has an attempt to make a comparison between English numeral and Chinese numeral—— ＂two＂ and ＂二＂ ,＂ 两＂. A meticulous analysis is made to compare the different meanings provided in many English dictionaries and Chinese dictionaries on the basis of the theory of historical paralinguistics in terms of conceptual function,cultural function and rhetorical function. The conclusion is also are discussed from the standpoint of cultures and thinking modes. |
