| 摘 要： | 语言符号究竟是任意性还是象似性一直存在争议,索绪尔的任意性侧重从语言内部分析语言符号的关系;而皮尔斯的象似性则从语言的内部与外部整个系统来分析语言符号与现实世界的关系。文章旨在阐述任意性和象似性的概念,从而对二者的关系进行对比和探索,通过举例说明二者是相互并存,相互补充的关系。

| Abstract: | There has been a question about linguistic signs are arbitrary or iconic in linguistics.Saussure’ s arbitrariness focuses on analyz ing the relations between signified and signifier in terms of language itself,while Pierce’ s iconicity reflects the relations between linguistic sign and the outside reality from the perspective of the whole language system.It elaborates what arbitrariness and iconicity refer to so as to compare and explore the two subjects.In addition,with some examples,it illustrates that both of them are coexist as well as complementary. |
