| 摘 要： | 作为认知语言学的重要内容之一,语法化研究有历时与共时两种取向。研究选取共时的研究视角,以英语疑问词的非疑问用法为切入点,从句法和语义两个维度分析其语法特征,并将之归纳为疑问代词的三条语法化路径;由此对探究疑问代词所特有的语法化认知机制(主观化、重新分析和转喻等)进行了进一步探究,并发现,某种机制可能在某条语法化路径中发挥着更为突出的作用,而在其他路径中则略显解释力不足。

| Abstract: | From a synchronic perspective, this article explores the grammatical features of English interrogative pro-forms’ non-interrogative uses and summarizes them into three grammaticalization paths in view of their syntactic environment and semantics. What follows is an investigation into the cognitive mechanisms behind— subjectivisation, reanalysis, and metonymy are proved to have played an important role, though the influence they each have on a certain grammaticalization path may differ. Last comes the conclusion part in which some possible variables are mentioned to be dealt with in the further study. |
