| 摘 要： | 本文简单阐述了西文图书准确分类标引的重要性，着重探讨了高校图书馆在以《中图法》（第四版）为依据的前提下，如何对西文图书进行准确分类标引。同时，举例说明了西文图书标引时应特别耐心、细致，注意查重等问题，重点强调了为确保读者检索的方便和西文图书的利用率问题，各高校图书馆根据各馆具体实际情况具体分析，不必教条，并且，西文图书准确分类标引需要编目人员长期刻苦的钻研。
