| Abstract: | Zheng Ban qiao's idea of "the People are the foundation" can be found relation with his family background, his early life experience, and traditional culture. The content of his idea can be sumed up with the following words: be concerned about the people; give first place to the farmer; make people do their work diligently, benefit people, help the destressed and succour those in peril, instill the need for honesty and loyalty into the childern, paint for the sake of the people. |
