| 摘 要： | “文化自觉”是指知识阶层对其民族文化的“自知之明”和创造性发展。近代中国“文化自觉”的产生和发展,历经戊戌维新时期、辛亥革命前十年、五四新文化运动时期及新民主主义革命时期等四个阶段。它以追求文化民族性与时代性的统一,也就是民族的科学的民主的大众的文化为内涵。上升到世界历史高度,充分重视文化对于中国近代化的推动作用,自觉促进民族文化的创新和发展,是近代“文化自觉”的内在要求和主旨所在。

| Abstract: | “Cultural consciousness” refers to the self-recognition and creative development of the national culture by the intelligentsia. The history of the cultural consciousness in modern China includes four stages: the period of Wuxu Reform Movement, the decade before Xinhai Revolutionary Movement in 1911, the period of the May 4th New Cultural Movement, and the period of New Democraticism. It asks for the cultural entity of the nationality and modernity, or the national, scientific, democratic and people’s culture. To look far ahead on global height and pay great attention to the cultural initiative to the Chinese modernization are its inner request. |
