| 摘 要： | 留美学生群体对中国近代科技的贡献，从19世纪80年代留美幼童归国时就开始了。他们各怀强烈的爱国情怀，以“科技救国”为己任，找到了积极促进中国科技发展的方法和途径，弘扬了科学精神，倡导并从事科技研究，培养科技人才，在此完整的意义上从广度和深度上传播了近代西方科技，推进了中国近代科技发展的进程。

| Abstract: | The contribution of the student group returned from America can trace back to the 1880s, when some youngsters returned from America. Harbouring strong patriotic feelings and taking the notion of science and technology saving the nation as their own mission, they actively promoted the development of China's science and technology by introducing western methods and approaches, exalted scientific spirit, advocated and undertook scientific research and cultivated talents, on the basis of which they spread modern western science and technology widely and in a deep going way so as to give great impetus to the development of the modernization of China's science and technology. |
