英语听力理解中适度歧义容忍的培养

摘    要:歧义容忍,作为一种重要的风格倾向,影响着外语掌握的程度。学习者在听力理解过程中都表现出不同程度的歧义容忍,从而促进或阻碍听力理解。本文试图通过相关理论和具体实例,提出培养适度的歧义容忍和听力策略的解决方案,以进一步促进听力教学改革。

Abstract:Tolerance of ambiguity, as a style preference, is an important factor which affects language learners' proficiency. Individual learners show differences in ambiguity tolerance, which may promote or impede their comprehension while listening. The present paper attempts to cultivate moderate ambiguity tolerance, based on some related theories and examples, so as to improve the present listening instruction.
