| 摘 要： | 诗歌离不开意象，诗歌翻译中的意象处理关系着诗歌翻译的成功与否，具有极重要的意义。但凡优秀的诗歌译作，都凝聚着译者在意象处理中的匠心独用，精思巧构。阐述了意象在诗歌翻译中的作用和意义。并分析归纳了意象难译的三点原因：文化的差异，诗歌的模糊性，诗歌翻译中的“意”与“形”之间的矛盾。提出了意象处理的基本原则：非比喻性意象应该保留，比喻性意象应该变通。
