| 摘 要： | 主题句、连动句、兼语句和流水句是汉语中的几种特殊句式，在我国古典文学名著《红楼梦》中表现突出，占很大比重。这些句式是进行汉英翻译时的难点。以《红楼梦》的有关句子为例，结合这些句式的结构特点，讨论宪益译文中的得失问题。

| Abstract: | As the unordinary Chinese sentence structures, topic pattern, sentence with serial verbs, pivotal sentence and simple sentences with no conjunction show up everywhere in A Dream of Red Mansion. It is difficult to translate them into English. This paper talks about the advantages and disadvantages of Yang Xianyi＇ s translation of A Dream of Red Mansion. |
