| 摘 要： | 本文利用1990-2009年省级面板数据估计了中国城市化的人力资本积累效应。我国城市化产生正向人力资本积累效应,然而,当城市化水平低于49.6%时,城市化的人力资本积累效应边际递减,反之,边际递增。城市化与产业结构、收入水平、外资的交互作用无助于人力资本积累,原因在于,我国产业结构落后,城市化滞后;相比收入水平,人力资本投资门槛较高;集中于劳动密集型产业的外资驱动下的城市化模式等。因此,转变城市化推进方式、加大教育投入、降低人力资本投资成本并提高其预期收益是促进人力资本积累的主要途径。

| Abstract: | Using the panel data at province level from 1990-2009,we estimated the contribution of urbanization to human capital accumulation.China’s nurbanization has a positive effect on human capital accumulation,however,when urbanization lower than 49.6%,its marginal effect on human capital accumulation decreases,otherwise,increases.The interaction of urbanization with industrial structure,income level as well as FDI plays no positive role on human capital accumulation,the reasons are the following: Industrial structure falls behind and urbanization lags;Compared with income level,the threshold of investment in human capital is higher;the urbanization pattern that driven by FDI focuses on labor-intensive industries.Therefore,transform the urbanization pattern,increase investment in education,reduce investment costs and improve expected return on human capital are the main ways to promote human capital accumulation. |
