| 摘 要： | 先秦儒家的孝道观念，产生于对血缘家长的崇敬，它包含“生，事之以礼；死；葬之以礼，祭之以礼”两方面的家庭道德观念，这一观念被扩大、延伸到国家、社会之上，便转化为一种责任和道德义务，使孝观念对维护封建统治具有重要作用，于是统治者大昌孝道，构成孝主要内容这一的送死之事，日益发展，厚葬陋习日烈。

| Abstract: | According to Confucianism before the Qin dynasty, the concept of filial duties originated from the respect for the common patriarch of the same clan, which claimed that man should be respected all his life, from the time he was born until the time he died and even the time he was buried. When this concept was enhanced from family to apply to the whole country and even the whole society, it become a responsibility and a moral obligation, exerting great effect for the monarchy to maintain its rule. This explains why the rulers greatly advocated grand burials, which became more and more luxurious. |
