| 摘 要： | 中国学生因不了解英美文化而造成了英汉互译中的文化障碍 ,其主要表现为翻译中只注重语义信息的传递而忽视文化信息的传递。其实 ,英汉文化差异明显的体现在词汇的使用中 ,英汉文化赋予对应词的联想不等值。因此 ,排除文化障碍可以通过加强翻译教学的文化导入、增强英汉语言与文化对比的内容、以及准确的理解词义等途径来解决。

| Abstract: | Lacking of English cultural knoledge causes culture barriers to English-Chinese or Chinese-English translation. The problem is that in the process of translation only semantic information is converted from one language into another, but cultural information is ignored. Actually, cultural differences, manifested in words, result in the different connotatins of the words. So approaches for clearing the barriers are: to enhance cultural information and language and culture contrast in translation teaching; to understand the word meaning accurately. |
