| Abstract: | Numerals can be fuzzy in semantics and pragmatics. The present paper is devoted to a discussion of the fuzziness of numerals. The translation of numerals can be influenced by culture. The paper proposes several translation methods of numerals in both Chinese and English including use of equivalents, free translation, explanatory translation, and creative translation . |
