| 摘 要： | 台湾地区高等教育学制改革的背景非常复杂，受到教育思想、经济、文化、国际环境等各种因素的影响。高等教育机会均等论、高等教育发展质与量兼顾论、大学与社会互动论、高等教育多元论、技职教育一贯论等是台湾地区新一轮高等教育学制改革的思想先导，经济全面特型和产业结构升级、社会价值观念转变、国际经济形势变化是其改革的直接动因。
