| Abstract: | Mr. Liang Shiqiu was a great master of Chinese modern prose. His essays embodied a unique artistic style,characterized by humor combined with irony. In his works,he sometimes criticized temporal malpractice,sometimes exposed the weakness of human nature,sometimes expressed his sentiment and apperception of life,or revealed his observation of various human emotions and actions. Through his witty and humorous language,penetrating insight into social life was demonstrated. This characteristic style directly related with Mr. Liang＇s personal background,experiences and his philosophy of literature. |
