| 摘 要： | 为了探讨主述位结构应用于翻译实践的可行性,以贵州大学英语专业的学生为目标测试对象,指导其在翻译实践中用主述位结构理解英语原文句子及篇章。对测试数据的分析显示主述位结构对于理解英语原文句子及篇章有一定的积极意义,但该结构的理解和运用受学生的原有知识、语言能力及认知能力的影响,在进一步研究中应注意规避其影响。

| Abstract: | This paper reports the findings of a test on students' application of thematic structure to E-C translation.The test is made among the tertiary level English majors of Guizhou University.The results show the positive role that thematic structure plays in analyzing the internal structure of the source passages at the sentence level and of larger context.The paper also proposes some suggestions to further studies. |
