| 摘 要： | 《发条橙》中的"他者"具有两重含义,即由本我异化而成的"他者"和原本就与"自我"相对的他者。由本我异化而成的"他者"是由可以选择思想和行为的埃里克斯(Alex)而被改造成的政府"罪恶修正疗法"的成功作品,即一个不能反抗、无力自卫、没有性欲,只是像机器一样按照政府以社会良民的标准设定的程序运行,无法越"雷池"半步、连一点点常人本能的反应都做不到的埃里克斯;原本就与"自我"相对的"他者"是人们没有安全感、社会弊端严重的后现代社会观照下的未来理想社会,即没有非"良民"、社会稳定发展、统治者长治久安的社会。通过对"他者"的展示,作者充分生动地表现了自由意志和道德选择能力的重要性。

| Abstract: | In A Clockwork Orange,there are two kinds of 'the other','the other' altered from 'the self',which is reformed from the Alex who has the freedom of individual choice to the Alex who is 'made into a good boy' and will never 'have the desire to commit acts of violence or to offend in any way whatsoever against the State's Peace';'the other' differentiated from 'the self',which is made from the society with many 'brutal hooligans' and various crimes to be one in which the reform programme has been executed and those who choose to be bad before will 'choose' to be good after the treatment of the 'Ludovico Method'.With the two kinds of 'the other',the author demonstrates insightfully the necessity of free will and the ability of ethical choice. |
