| 摘 要： | 称谓语本身的语意和文化特点决定了在对其进行翻译时，必然会遇到问题。由于英汉称谓文化的巨大差异，翻译《苔丝》中的称谓词更不是一件容易的事。因此，本文将通过对两个典型的《苔丝》中文译本的研究，对比分析称谓语的翻译策略。

With the differences between Chinese and English cultures, translating appellations in Tess may be even harder. So this essay will take a comparative study of strategies for translating appellations by examples in two popular Chinese Versions of Tess. |
