| Abstract: | Based on meshing principle of involutes gears, this paper deduces proper engagement equations for transmission mechanism with dual-idle gears. It proposes to design a transmission mechanism of wrapping machinery with dual-idle gears according to the results for the main cable of suspension bridge. |
