| Abstract: | The issue of funding for basic research is investigated. Public funding models for research organizations are presented. A new approach to the assessment of possible thematic areas based on bibliometric and webometric indicators is introduced. The architecture of the state system of scientific and technical information is discussed. Scientometric methods provide an instrument for resolving the infrastructure problems of the Russian science. |
