| 摘 要： | 探讨死喻的形成机理有认知科学和语言学的意义,从隐喻到死喻有神经学基础,此过程是认知可及性程度逐渐提高的过程;同时,随着认知可及性程度的提高和隐喻的新奇性逐渐消失,在一定的语境下,隐喻的含义得到强化、固化.这一切都使隐喻理解成为常规操作,隐喻义被赋予常规值,隐喻变成死喻.词汇缺乏是导致活性较低的隐喻词汇化的直接动因,它直接决定着隐喻的“生命历程“,也决定着隐喻的词汇化程度.

| Abstract: | It is of linguistic and cognitive significance to account for the process of dead metaphor.Such a process has the neurological basis,in which metaphor will get higher and higher cognitive accessibility.Meanwhile,metaphor will gradually lose its novelty and the meaning of metaphor will be reinforced and gradually entrenched in a certain context.All the above make metaphorical understanding a conventional operation and metaphor is given conventional value.Then live metaphor becomes dead metaphor.Lexical shortage is the direct motivation of such a process and determines the "life span" of metaphor and the degree of lexicalization. |
