| 摘 要： | 《英语课程标准》对高中学生英文报刊阅读能力提出了具体要求，然而高中学生阅读英文报纸能力却普遍欠缺，即不能获取主要信息，这正是目前英语阅读教学中的一个难点。阅读英文报纸是学生提高英语阅读水平的一种有效途径，为此，文章概括地介绍英文新闻的标题、结构、语法习惯和用词特点，旨在帮助学生较快地获得和提高阅读英文报刊的能力。

| Abstract: | The Curriculum of English has made a clear requirement that the students in high school should have the ability to read and understand the English newspapers and magazines. However, most of the high school students cannot do well in this, that is, they cannot get as much information as from the English newspapers they are reading. Besides, it is the difficult point in the present English teaching of reading. As we all know, reading English newspapers and magazines is an effective way to improve the students' ability and level of reading. Therefore, in this essay I'll give a brief introduction to the titles, structure, grammar and the features of the words used in the English news, so that,with the help of this, the students can improve their ability of reading English newspapers and magazines. |
