摘    要:“新闻”作为新闻学研究的一个重要的术语,历来都是新闻理论研究的重点。但新闻界在“新闻”的定义上。却仁者见仁,智者见智。本文在新闻理论界研究成果的基础上,试从“新闻”“新”的相对性出发,结合语言学相关知识.提出“新闻是相对于受众认知而言新的事实信息”的定义。

Abstract:"News" is an important term in the news research. It is also a focus in the research of news theories. However, as for the definition of "news" , different scholars have different points of views. Based on the researchachievements of news theories, this paper attempts to give a new definition of news-news is the new facts as far asthe target customer' s cognition is concerned-from both the aspects of the relativity of "new" facts in "news"and the related knowledge of linguistics.
